Widget design basics
Shared controls used across the 7Overlay widget editors.
7TV paints
Supported widgets include a paint selector with search, sorting, and filters for animated or static paints. Choose No Paint to return to normal text. Paint Per Line restarts the paint treatment for each line.
Inline 7TV emotes
Supported text fields can insert 7TV emotes. The saved emote metadata and emote-size setting control how they render in the Browser Source.
Fonts and typography
Choose a built-in font or one of your uploaded custom fonts. Where available, adjust font weight, alignment, outline, shadow strength, and background-box design.
Browser Source URLs
Always use the URL labelled Browser Source URL on the relevant widget page. Named widgets may also expose control, share, access, or Custom API links with different purposes. For widgets whose options are encoded into the generated URL, copy the newly generated URL after changing those options.
